How to throw a bachelor party on a budget

When someone says “bachelor party”, the first few things that come to mind may be strippers, loads of alcohol and Las Vegas.... the old cliche right? While there’s nothing wrong with a wild boy’s weekend of debauchery, unfortunately people have turned stag parties into events that put financial stress on many of those attending. Each one of the groom’s close friends should be able to attend this rite of passage, so make sure the plans fit within everyone’s budget.

Here are a few bachelor party ideas that will help you stick to a budget without sacrificing any fun!

1. Camping

One of the advantages to spending a few days in the great outdoors is the affordable cost. With a group of about ten people, the price of food and a camping spot can be about as inexpensive as $10 to $20 per person. Not the tenting type? Find a resort with cabins. Choose your destination based on the groom’s favorite activities. Pick a spot by a lake for the avid fisherman or mountainous terrain for adventurous hiker. To spice things up a little, surprise the groom and have a couple of our strippers or bikini ladies drop by for a day on the lake or a late night campfire party.   After surviving a weekend in the wilderness, marriage should be a breeze!

2. A Sporting Event

Another affordable bachelor party idea is to check out a game with the boys. Whatever the sport of choice is, many arenas offer group discount packages. Maybe someone in your group has access to a VIP box or suite (although some of the best party vibes happen in the stands). 3. Plan an Activity

Unleash your competitive side with a good old fashioned daytime activity. With so many indoor and outdoor activities available these days you are sure to find one that fits in your group’s budget. Along the same theme but even less expensive (or it can be) is holding your own premium spirit tasting at your house. Invite all your guests to bring a bottle of premium liquor and stick to a theme (different whiskeys, tequilas etc).
